Laptop complains of the day - from Biomed
User: I tried to watch a DVD with it and it wouldn't take it. I had to go through some complicated "VPN Client" thing to log in. It would have been easier if it just would open it up, instead of going through all these steps.
User: maybe help strict non-mac users be aware about the slight diffs. Even though a windows OS is available, there’s diff commands, like apple + S not control S. Maybe a reminder on a desktop to prevent future confusions
my thoughts: "complicated 'vpn client'" and "all these steps" = open vpn (on desktop), log in. we also have hard copies of overviews on EVERYTHING including key commands on both mac and pc everywhere in the library, also another copy on the desktop of every machine.
