It's a delicious little pasta place near the beach. We can even walk along the beach, hold hands, bury Eric in the sand and give him boobs, etc. It does get cold, so bring a sweater! Or just be prepared to drink lots of wine :D Let's have another great turn out like last week.

Hey! I've been planning this event since last year and the only way to find out about it is throught the clicc blog!

So who likes dumplings?!?

I'm planning to make it chinese style from scratch in my very own apartment. Anybody with any knowldge about the process let me know and we can get started with planning! This is basically going to be a dinner party where we all participate in making dumplings from scratch and then eating them till we can't move! yes!!

The Counter!

hey yall :D so after all that good food it's time to go back to an old classic. the counter. you guys may remember this burger joint...it's yummy :) you basically build your own burger and it's fancy smancy. they have 10 differerent cheeses and toppings you won't find at typical burger places (cranberries, pineapple, black bean salsa, etc.).

and andre (old school cliccster) has extended a challenge... he posted it earlier, but let me refresh your memory. it's a race to the finish. whoever can finish a counter burger the fastest will win the price of the burger + $50 big ones. but it's not just any counter burger...it's a 1 pounder with all the cheeses (10) and toppings (27). if you fail, you'll be in a world of pain and your wallet will be out of $40...so enter the competition with caution.

UCLA vs CAL Football game

It's Nov 4th! Lots of fun (and most likely a road trip for those of you in LA) see my blog for details and updates. The spawn of social pressure to make a blog that nobody will ever read because my life is boring as hell.

2005 Clos du Bois Pinot Grigio

After a sunday night of bowling and Korean food, the roommates and I popped open a bottle of 2005 Clos Du Bois Pinot Grigio. For a cheap $9 bottle, it wasn't pretty good, but it had a shorter lifespan than donuts at the counter. Don't get me wrong, it tastes great after you've let it breathe for a few minutes, but not long after, it goes downhill. Wayyy downhill.

At its peak, it's pretty refreshing, and doesn't have that same bitter taste that it does straight out of the bottle. It's mildy acidic with a kind of citrus flavor. After leaving a glass out for more than, say, 10 minutes at room temperature, it already begins to take on a sour acidity, so be warned. Probably better served (and preserved) chilled.

yay. Food time again. I live for this day :D so this week is ethiopian food. ooooooo. exotic! O.o This means: fingers + hungry cliccsters + delicious = happy fun times. So we are back to Wednesday night at 7pm...but you late folks are always welcome, just hitch a ride or something. We're just going to go down fairfax to Little Ethiopia and see what's good. But for now it's going to be Rosalind's, my roomie (the foodie) says it's a good place to start trying Ethiopian goodness.

Hey guys. So the next restaurant is called Lala's. Location: 7229 Melrose Ave. It's Argentinean food. Exotic, oh lala (haha, get it?) oh wow that was Josh level lame...I'm sorry guys. But yeah, this place is supposed to be yummy. So plan your schedules around the same time Wednesday night at 7pm. :D I'll send out a mass spam email about it later. Wednesday Night Dinners

Hey dudes. Since no one has really said anything about weekly dinners...I'll just organize this one and see how it goes.

When: Wednesday 6:30pm
Where: Danube (on westwood across from borders next to papa johns)

If you guys want to change the date and/or time...too bad. HA! Why not go back to the old times when we had Thursday night dinners? Because that's cutting it close to Grey's and no one messes with my tv shows. Post if you can go or you can't. I'll be around the lab spreading the word. And what about rides?
